To be successful, you have to think long term. Short-term thinking prompts you to make decisions or choices that may seem right in the moment but don't maximize your long-term outcomes. However, when you act based on long-term thinking, you reap a compound benefit that increases over time.
As Christians, we don't live for the moment. Instead, we live for the moment that Jesus says, "Well done." Similarly, in business, finances, and relationships, we need to keep our focus on the long-term goals and objectives and make choices that support that vision of our preferred future.
